What is the best dog food for my Dobe?

I have a six month old Dobe (Brooklyn). I am currently feeding her Eukanuba Large puppy food. She seems a bit on the skinny side.
I was told by a friend of mine this was a very good and healthy food for her to eat. I was just wondering if there are any other suggestions or problems w the food I have her on.
